RST or Trail Boss. I’m looking to order a 2022 Silverado, but I’m torn between an RST and Trail Boss. Also trying to decide between the 5.3 and Duramax. I’ve never had a diesel so I’m leaning towards the 5.3 for that reason. I prefer a 60/40 bench, but that’s not likely based on the other options I want.Oct 21, 2020 · Oct 31, 2020. #8. I honestly like the power of 6.2 over the 5.3 I had in my last truck, the gas mileage is about 16mpg with regular, it was only 14.1 in my 2011 crewcab with a 5.3. FWIW, I just added Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear and 275/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I set the front shocks at the highest setting(1.1 inches for Trail Boss) and I have no rubbing.
